TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh in explosive row with Sam Faiers
The new series of The Only Way Is Essex kicked off with a bang as Lucy Mecklenburgh confronted best friend Sam Faiers over her catty comments about her engagement to Mario Falcone.
On The Only Way Is Marbs summer special of the hit ITV2 reality show, TOWIE star Lucy got her dream proposal from boyfriend Mario Falcone aboard a luxury yacht in Marbella.
But her dream didn’t last long as best friend Sam Faiers alleged that Mario hasn’t stopped the cheating which forced the couple to break up earlier in the year.
At their engagement party, Lucy decides to confront Sam about the allegations, which leads to an almighty bust up between the girls and their respective boyfriends’ Mario and Joey Essex.
Sam, who has been friends with Lucy since they were teens, explains to best friend Gemma: “One minute I’m a friend, then I’m the enemy.”
Gemma concurs: “You were only looking out for her.”
But Lucy is upset that Sam tarnished their engagement as soon as it was announced and tearfully tells Sam: “You were my friend. And what you are doing now is completely ruining that.”
The argument gets more heated and a defensive Mario accuses Joey of cheating in Ibiza and Lucy alleges that Sam recently strayed on a night out at popular Essex nightclub Faces.
As neither party backs down, a distraught Lucy tells Sam: “Thanks for ruining our engagement party.”
It seems like The Only Way Is Drama for the stars of TOWIE!
