Rumours were rife that the 24-year-old tailor had been texting another girl, leading to a huge argument with his fiancée Lucy - and so the pair decided to stay together but cancel their wedding plans.
But it looks like the pair are set for more drama as the 21-year-old engaged in a semi-naked hot tub session with known womaniser and TOWIE co-star Kirk Norcross.
A sneak peek at Sunday’s episode shows the 24-year-old former Celebrity Big Brother contestant topless and popping open a bottle of champagne next to a white bikini-clad Lucy.
The two look incredibly flirty - something which Mario will no doubt be furious about, especially as it's so soon after their “de-engagement”. But apparently their hot tub rendezvous is just an innocent case of Lucy and Kirk “bumping into” each other at a spa. It seems suspicious, though, that Lucy’s BFF Lydia Bright and Kirk's mate Joey Essex - who both also came to the spa - are nowhere to be seen. It’s unclear how or why Jodie Marsh’s ex-boyfriend magically had a bottle of bubbly to hand in a hot tub, but it will no doubt rile Mario, who's just been told off for his flirty behaviour. Lucy was furious when she found out he was texting one of Mick Norcross’ ‘High Street Honeys’, and told her fiancé he shouldn’t be “bantering a girl when it’s about them in a leotard.” But how will Mario feel about his girlfriend engaging in some face-to-face flirting? It looks like we’ll find out this Sunday when the new episode of The Only Way Is Essex airs at 10pm on ITV2. |
