Madonna makes daughter Lourdes fold her pantsHer mother Madonna might be a superstar, but it would appear that daughter Lourdes doesn’t get any special treatment.
The 16-year-old has revealed that being related to one of the most famous women in the world hasn’t done her any favours, as she’s been forced by the Hung Up singer to work her way up from the bottom - literally!
The teen - whose dad is personal trainer Carlos Leon - has admitted in her blog that one of the jobs during her “unconventional” internship on Madonna’s worldwide sold-out MDNA tour was to fold the Queen of Pop’s underwear.
She wrote: “This summer I was surprisingly productive. So, I thought I would tell you all about the joys of folding underwear.
“As you probably know this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her MDNA album. As a summer job I decided to work in the wardrobe department. “All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too.” While Lourdes was certainly in the lucky position of getting to tour the world with her mum, she clearly wasn’t too keen on dealing with her pants. But she goes on to add that she enjoyed getting an eyeful of Madonna’s ripped backing dancers and even got to dress them during the show’s swift costume changes. She explained: “Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes. “Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty crazy, but I loved every minute of it.” Lourdes lists Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Turkey as her favourite places on the road, and describes her summer with her mum as a “great experience” and “one of my best summers so far”. So it would seem that folding Madonna’s underwear wasn’t all bad? |
