Jennifer Lopez bagged a $1 million fee for performing at the wedding of a billionaire's daughter in the Ukraine. The 'On The Floor' hitmaker - who announced her split from husband of seven years, Marc Anthony, last week - flew in to the Eastern European nation yesterday morning (19.07.11) to perform a set of her hits at the nuptials of Serhiy Taruta's daughter and her new husband. A source told Us Weekly magazine: "He's a wealthy guy who wanted J.Lo and was willing to pay top dollar." However, this is all said to be part of Jennifer's decision to throw herself back into work to cope with her sudden split from Marc, with whom she raises three-year-old twins Max and Emme. One friend said: "She is jumping back into work and being a mom with all her energy and she is really excited. She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever!" Despite the couple having parted ways, three-times married Jennifer reportedly "fought" to save their marriage for the sake of the twins. Her stylist Phillip Bloch said: "She fought to make it work for the sake of the children. She desperately did not want a third divorce." |
