Matthew Perry is selling his home in Malibu, California, for $13.5 million - over twice the the $6.55 million he paid for it in 2005. The stunning 5,500 square foot property put on the market by the former 'Friends' star - who has two other houses in the Los Angeles area - sits on 2.32 acres of land and boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Known as Pier House, the beachfront home also features a master suite complete with his-and-her baths, a sitting area, fireplace and an ocean-view window seat, as well as its own swimming pool. Earlier this year, Matthew - who has dealt with substance abuse issues by checking into in-patient facilities in 1997 and 2001 - revealed he is to enter rehab to deal with his ongoing "sobriety" issues. He said in a statement: "I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web." |
