One Direction's Niall Horan apologises for swearing at fansNiall Horan has said sorry after a video of him swearing at fans surfaced online. The One Direction singer used the foul language this week when he was walking past a crowd of 1D followers at Dublin airport. He said: “Remember the last time I walked out here? You shower of c*nts.” Footage of the incident was then uploaded to YouTube, but the user insisted Niall meant it as "banter". No-one seemed offended by what Niall said - his admirers continued to chat to him and asked for a birthday message for a friend. But the angel-faced singer, who recently returned from One Direction's sell-out headline tour of the US, has since apologised on Twitter. He wrote: “Really sorry if I caused any offence. It was just banter with fans who I think of more as mates.
"But I understand that it's not a word I should be using at all." The controversy surrounding Niall comes soon after reports of band mate Harry Styles' alleged fling with 32-year-old radio DJ Lucy Horobin.
Though Lucy was on a break from husband Oliver at the time of their alleged romance, he reportedly admits he was shocked when she confessed.
A friend revealed to the Sunday Mirror: "Initially Oliver blamed Lucy. Who wouldn't? He was really confused and didn't know what to do.
"He told me, 'I'm devastated. I feel every emotion... hatred, sadness, disappointment'. "To Oliver, Harry is a spoilt little rich kid who does whatever he wants, when he wants - no matter the consequences."
Fortunately, we reckon we can rely on 18-year-old Liam Payne to live up to One Direction's (former) squeaky clean reputation.
