Nicole Scherzinger will miss Lewis Hamilton

Nicole Scherzinger is worried her new 'X Factor' role means she will see less of boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

Despite moving to her lover's native UK to join the judging panel of the talent show, Nicole says time with the racing driver will be limited because the auditions clash with his Formula 1 racing schedule.

She told The Sun newspaper: ''I'm actually going to spend less time with Lewis. I believe the 'X Factor' shows are going to be running the same time as his races.

''But I'll juggle things. I think everything will work out the way it's supposed to. It'll be OK.''

Nicole - who judged her first full day of auditions in Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England, on Monday - also revealed her British boyfriend has been no help in preparing her for life in England, saying: ''I think I'm still giving Lewis tips on surviving the Brits!''

Although Nicole was sensationally dropped from the US version of the programme after just one season, she insists she bears no ill will towards show supremo Simon Cowell. And denies that she was 'dropped.'

The 33-year-old singer said: ''Simon and I have a great relationship. He didn't axe me. I was only meant to do the one season - and now the UK has me.

''It's perfect. Now the UK will get all of me - that's why Simon brought me here.

''I've signed up for one series but, who knows, maybe they will kick me out.''

We're not sure if Nicole will be able to win us over. Some of us at sofeminine are STILL smouldering about Cheryl Cole. But we're looking forward to a new American judge taking to the panel.
