X Factor 2012: Nicole Scherzinger works a shift at ASDANicole Scherzinger swapped her spot on the X Factor judging panel for a new role working at ASDA yesterday.
The former Pussycat Doll - who's usually snapped glammed up to the max in sparkly dresses - donned the supermarket's famous black and green uniform to join Jahmene Douglas at the shop.
Shy X Factor finalist Jahmene, mentored by Nicole on the show, was an ASDA employee before he found fame on primetime TV.
Jahmene, 21, is considered the best vocalist in the competition and blew everyone away when he sang Etta James' At Last for his first audition.
The 34-year-old had a pretty busy day yesterday, as she also paid a visit to Rylan Clark's home county of Essex.
Looking a little more comfortable in her surroundings, Nicole accompanied her boy Rylan, 24, to Amy Childs' beauty salon for a few treatments. Rylan - branded the show "joke" by head judge Gary Barlow - tweeted: "Today's the day.... I'm bringing @NicoleScherzy home to essex x." He then uploaded a photo of himself with his good friend Amy and judge Nicole and wrote: "Can't wait for you all to see this Saturday ! Vajazzles galore !!!!!" After their trip to the salon, Nicole headed off into her car while Rylan walked away with Amy, who he befriended at Essex Fashion Week 2011. Former The Only Way Is Essex star Amy, 22, said of their first meeting: "He was over me like a rash. I got on with him from day one, I had loads in common with him. "He loves to chat and rings me up for advice." Nicole is also mentoring 24-year-old Middlesbrough boy James Arthur, who recently claimed that before X Factor he used to sleep on the streets. Not sure how Nicole would get on with trying out that one... |
