 - Pippa Middleton offered five-figure sum to appear on Strictly Come Dancing
Pippa Middleton has reportedly been offered a five-figure sum to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing', in the hope her involvement will boost ratings against ITV1's 'The X Factor'.

Pippa Middleton, the sister of Duchess Catherine, has been offered a five-figure sum to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
With the 27-year-old beauty having shot to fame after showing off her svelte physique in a figure-hugging bridesmaid's dress at Kate's wedding to Prince William on April 29, BBC One bosses are said to be desperate to sign her up to the show in the hope of beating ITV1's 'X Factor' in the ratings.
An insider explained: "Pippa has become almost as famous as Kate since the wedding. It would be a huge coup to get her and give the show global appeal."
Although the star is said to be a huge fan of the BBC One celebrity dancing show and is sure bosses would handle her appearance in the right way, she is determined not to embarrass her royal sister by doing anything which may damage her reputation.
A friend of Pippa told The Sun newspaper: "She's a bit overwhelmed by all the attention and is considering her next move very carefully. She is conscious that her sister is going to be queen one day and is determined not to do anything embarrassing.
"But she loves 'Strictly' and if she was sure her appearance would be handled correctly she'd be keen to slip into sequins."
Pippa is not the first member of the extended royals to be asked to feature in the series - Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, was reportedly offered a place in 2010.
