Katy Perry moving on from John Mayer with Robert Pattinson?Katy Perry will soon get a reputation as a man-eater following reports she’s moved on from singer John Mayer to Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson.
The California Girl singer was recently spotted all over John at the Chateau Marmont and at a mutual friend’s pool party.
But it looks like it was too much, too soon for the PDA-loving pair, as they have split less than two months after they reportedly started dating.
A source told People magazine: “They'll end up as friends. They were honestly having fun.” Katy’s friends were reportedly unhappy with the Fireworks singer dating John, especially as he has a “womanising” reputation - just like her ex-husband Russell Brand. At the time an insider told Heat magazine: “Katy’s friends think she’s playing with fire. After everything she’s gone through with Russell, they’re worried about John’s womanising.” Following the end of their summer romance, new reports have surfaced that Katy is pursuing the newly-single Robert Pattinson. The smoldering Cosmopolis actor has been nursing a broken heart after it was revealed that his girlfriend Kristen Stewart had cheated on him with married director and father-of-two Rupert Sanders. Katy has reportedly offered Rob a shoulder to cry on and the actor has been more than happy to take her up on the offer. The pair were spotted out last night at celeb hangout Soho House in LA although it’s not known whether they’re friends or friends with benefits. Either way, we wouldn’t mind consoling R-Patz with a tub of ice cream and Bridget Jones DVD. |
