Steve Jones covered in blood after terrible accident?!Steve Jones is lying battered, bruised and covered in blood.
Before you get too worried though, he’s just shooting scenes for a new short film called The Other Man, directed by his friend David Raymond.
The former X Factor USA presenter let the cat out of the bag by posting a series of photos of his grisly new look on Twitter.
Alongside the pics he teased: “I hate it when you've just had a total hammering and you're feeling fine.......”
Adding: “.......and then the next minute you're dead! It's so annoying!!” Obviously his 115,000 Twitter followers were slightly concerned by the image of Steve looking rather dead, so he quickly tweeted: “I’m helping a director friend out (by being bludgeoned to death) on his short film...keep an eye out for it!” The 35-year-old heartthrob seemed to be excited to be starring in the violent short, although he spoiled the surprise somewhat by revealing that his character dies at the end. This isn’t the first time the Welsh TV presenter has tried his hand at acting, as in 2008 he starred in Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Alan Davies. Talking about taking the leap from presenting on T4 into films, Steve previously said: “I mean who doesn’t want to be in a film? So I went along to the audition and was in a room full of actors... “I recognised a lot of them and was immediately paranoid thinking: ‘Oh God, what are they thinking? You’re only a presenter, this isn’t for you.’ “But I went into the room and evidently nailed it and am now in a Gurinder Chadha movie, which I’m hugely proud to be part of. “I enjoyed the process...So yeah, I would definitely do more acting but I’m not going to say I am in case it doesn’t happen and that way I’ll avoid disappointment.” It would seem that following Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging Steve hasn’t managed to get himself another film role, but maybe starring in The Other Man will get the former T4 presenter’s silver screen dreams back on track. However, tweeting pictures of his bloodied make-up and then revealing how his character dies probably isn't the best marketing technique... |
