New girlfriend? Tom Daley takes pretty US diver on a dateTom Daley and his rumoured girlfriend Kassidy Cook went on a date to the theatre last night.
US diver Kassidy - who was ruled out of the Olympic Games because of a shoulder injury - flew into the UK on Sunday night from Texas to see Tom.
Confirming her visit, Kassidy replied to a fan who said they were jealous she was seeing Tom: "I'm going to London tomorrow to visit. I'll put in a good word for ya." She later wrote: "Have the whole row to myself on the way to London #winning."
Not long after 17-year-old Kassidy arrived in Britain - perfectly timed for the end of the Olympics and Tom's bronze medal win - Tom treated her to a night at the West End. She tweeted last night along with a picture of them both: "Went to lion king! Awesome play!" It was 18-year-old Tom's close friend and fellow GB Diver Tonia Couch who first hinted at his romance with Kassidy. Tonia told Heat magazine: “He likes his American girls. Kassidy and he always see each other when they go away. “They buy each other birthday presents because they’re both born in May. They’re not boyfriend-girlfriend but they’re a very hot couple."
