Tulisa “warned” Perrie Edwards to cool it with Zayn MalikX Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos told Little Mix star Perrie Edwards to go slow and play it cool with her One Direction love interest Zayn Malik.
The 24-year-old popstar claims that she went above and beyond her responsibilities as a music mentor to the aspiring singer, dishing out sage relationship advice to her young ward.
The former N-Dubz singer proudly told the Daily Star: “I was involved in that from the start. I was the first person that she came to. So I said, right, this is what you need to do - don’t text him back, wait!
“But she said: ‘He’s asked me to come round his house.’
“And I was like - what time is it? No. No. It’s too late!” Clearly Tulisa was unimpressed with Zayn’s wooing tactics and was feeling protective after Perrie received a string of late night texts from the One Direction heartthrob asking her over to his place. Although Tulisa tried to cool down their budding romance by telling the 19-year-old to play hard to get, it seems like her efforts were in vain as the couple are now said to be super serious with each other. The Little Mix star has been inseparable from Zayn, accompanying him to his family home to celebrate the traditional Muslim holiday of Eid. The What Makes You Beautiful singer also abandoned his One Direction bandmates at V Festival last month to support his girlfriend as she played G-A-Y in London. Seeing as Tulisa hasn’t had the best track record with relationships lately, maybe she should be the one taking advice from her Perrie and the other Little Mix girls! |
