X Factor 2012: Ella Henderson and Union J's George go public with romanceIt was clear that current X Factor stars Ella Henderson and Union J band member George Shelley had developed a close friendship behind the scenes of the show.
But it would appear that the pair are quickly becoming more than friends as the singers were spotted at the star-studded Pride Of Britain Awards looking very much like a pair of teens in love.
The Mirror have published photos showing the X Factor contestants sitting together and holding hands during the bash.
Other pictures show the 19-year-old Harry Styles lookalike gently stroking the 16-year-old singer’s back and whispering to her during the ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on Monday evening. The sweet images appear to confirm that the pair are dating, even though they'd previously denied reports they are an item. An X Factor insider told The Mirror: “George and Ella have been trying to take things slowly because they don’t want to be seen as a typical X Factor romance. "They really connected when they first met but they wanted to get to know each other before taking the relationship up a notch. “Now, after spending such an emotional evening together, they are taking things more seriously.” During the bash, Ella and George sought some alone time when they moved their chairs to a separate section away from fellow hopefuls Jahmene Douglas, Kye Sones and James Arthur. Ella has previously stressed they're nothing more than very good mates, explaining: “Me and George are close. “Best friends. We just act like 12-year-olds around each other.” It certainly looked like the pair were more than just friends at the Pride Of Britain Awards! |
