The colorful, foot-stomping new hit, ‘Drummer Boy’, with its commanding military troop rhythm set over a splash of shiny brass & synths and a massive sing-a-long hook, is unlike any other record you’ll hear this year

The song features drum samples from the Dallas Austin produced soundtrack to 2002's cult movie ‘Drumline’ starring Nick Canon and was  written and produced by Akon's new protégé Shamrock, and lyricist Nate Walka. 

Alesha's debut album, the platinum-selling The Alesha Show, produced massive chart and radio hits such as The Boy Does Nothing and Breathe Slow and earned her both Brit and MOBO nominations.
