Selena has some big plans for the tour that will begin on the 24th of July. The 18-year-old star seems to be stepping into the second phase of being a Hollywood star: she's all grown up and wants to do “something different” on her tour. As a result the Disney idol made a statement in the press that her upcoming tour will be drastically different from the ones she has done in the past. The ‘Wizard of Waverly Place’ star stated that she will be changing costumes during the concerts and will have background dancers setting the stage up for a ‘real’ performance. However her fans hope that she will be able to cope with the ‘changes’ better than her counterpart Miley, but as this quote might suggest, another young star might well be heading in the wrong direction: “We’re going to have wardrobe changes, there is going to be dancers — I will not be dancing most of the time. They’ll just be back there getting the crowd pumped up. We’re going to have fun screens in the background. It’s just gonna be a huge party. I wanted to make it like a PG-13 rave.” |
