It's a question that most women consider at some point in their lives: when's the best time to have a baby? Camilla Chafer asked around to see what she could find out.
Ask most women when the right time is to have a baby and you will get a myriad of responses. Many cite work, finances and relationships as key decision points. Research shows that we have the highest teen pregnancy rate in Western Europe. At the same time, though, that many women are now delaying motherhood, often having their first baby in their late thirties, forties or in some cases, even later.
So is there ever a right time to have a baby? We asked the mums and the experts for their opinions.
