Looking for some boozy and pretty AF inspo to take your Christmas decoration game up an alcoholic notch? Of course you have. All our prayers have been answered in the form of gin baubles AKA the best news we've heard all year. Just 135 wish days to go...

There's SO much to organise when it comes to Christmas. You've got the cooking, the present buying, the present wrapping, it's a one helluva busy time. But one thing we really look forward to in the run up to Christmas each year, that's guaranteed to help us wind down and get us fully into the festive spirit (even more so than watching The Grinch on repeat), is decorating the Christmas tree. In fact, it's fair to say we live for it.

If you love it too then listen up cos we've got the perfect new addition for you to add to your fir this year, and it involves gin. Yep you heard right. Gin baubles are here and we've never been so excited. Yes, Gin.Baubles. Now let's just let that sink in for a second...

If you're anything like me, decorating the tree each year involves recycling your ancient strands of tinsel, wrapping some frazzled fairylights around it and hanging your primary school decs on it (shout out to my dad for holding on to that pine cone dipped in 'snow' for all these years). Now you can see why gin in baubles is major news.

We've got Pickering’s, one of Edinburgh’s most famous craft distilleries, to thank for this booze-tastic invention, as they've designed the range of pretty glass decorations, each of which is filled with 50ml of Pickering’s Gin.

Speaking to The Scotsman, the company revealed they are struggling to keep up with the demand for what they say is 'this season's must-have item.' And we're not surprised one bit tbh.

The Edinburgh distillery has seen remarkable demand for their Christmas offering, having sold their baubles so quickly they are now having to drop them in stages to meet the high demand.

Marcus Pickering, co-founder of the company, said that the Christmas-themed gin gifts started off “as a bit of fun for a Christmas fair” but the distillery soon found that customers went “absolutely wild for them”. He said that the brand sold hundreds of gin baubles in minutes and so decided it was well “worth continuing”.

If you fancy getting your mitts on some to pimp up your tree in the most boozy way possible, the baubles are sold in a gift pack of six, at RRP £30. Pickering’s have disclosed that should you want to be in with a chance of securing a pack, it’s best to join their Ginfriends mailing list to hear about their general release 24 hours before anyone else. Noted.

Here's ho-ho-hoping they don't run out before we get to the checkout.
