Julian McMahon, the compulsive seducer
Photo: Warner Bros/M6 Julian in the TV series Julian McMahon plays the infamous, villainous, nasty Christian Troy, one of the two plastic surgeons in the series Nip/Tuck. Co-owner of the private clinic in Miami, Christian has plenty of flaws: he's narcissistic, difficult, deceitful, superficial and obsessed with sex. But he draws the line at stealing the wife of his business partner and friend, even though he's more than tempted… In 2003, Julian received a Golden Globe and Satellite Award for his performance in the series.
Julian in real life A former model (looking notably hot in a Levi's advert), this Australian star first shot to fame in Charmed in the late 90s. Initially considered to be a 'daddy's boy' - his father was the Prime Minister of Australia in the 1970s - Julian has since gone out of his way to make a name for himself in his own right. In 1994, he married a compatriot, singer Dannii Minogue, but divorced less than one year later. Then he hooked up with Baywatch lifeguard Brooke Burns, only to see his second marriage also end in divorce. They have a daughter together. It would seem he's a compulsive seducer in real life as well as on TV…
