barrier :
The condom is the only contraception method which also protects
you from sexually transmitted diseases, which is a big plus
for younger couples. Sometimes, worries about being infected
can be very hard to overcome.
Your fertility is safe:
Condoms do not involve hormones, so have no effect on female
fertility. Some women need to feel 'fertile' to feel sexy,
so condoms are a great choice.

The hassle factor:
Condoms can split, not unroll properly, or get stuck, which
all kill the moment somewhat. There's also the fact that one
of you needs to remember to buy them in the first place that
can sometimes be off-putting, especially on a Sunday when
there's nothing open.
Some people feel condoms reduce sex down to mechanics, as
the act of putting it on interrupts natural lovemaking. By
the time you've dug about by the side of the bed to find them,
got it out of the packet and put it on, you could be forgiven
for going a little off the boil.
"It's not just the putting it on that's annoying, but once
we've finished, we like to lie still for a while together.
Condoms make this impossible, I have to come out of my partner
quickly to make sure it doesn't fall off, which kind of takes
all the tenderness away, " says Julian.
