As Madonna prepares for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet Tour, Seven Dials in London will host an exhibition of 20 Madonna nude portraits by Martin H. M.Schreiber which were taken 30 years ago. Madonna was paid just $30 to pose for the photographs when she was at dancing school, and in 1985 they were published in Playboy Magazine. The exhibition is being co-hosted by the UK's only erotic art gallery, Impure Art, and all the works are available to buy. You will need deep pockets though - prices start at £3,400 and a one-off print of the test Polaroid from the session is expected to be sold for £40,000. Those with more modest budgets can buy memorabilia badges, postcards, books and priced from just £1.
The exhibition is at 9 Earlham Street, Seven Dials, London WC2 from 2nd- 19th July, Monday to Saturday, 12-7pm, and Sunday 12-6pm. For more information visit www.sevendials.co.uk.
