Topshop gears up for New York launch
|
April 2 2009 is the date set for the opening of Topshop New York. Owner Philip Green is confident that the UK label will be able to travel across the pond and be a success in the US. "It's the most expensive store I have ever done," Green told the BBC. "There is an army of people working on it - because we know everyone is looking." The 30,000 square foot store has cost $20 million and the shop's most successful in-house designer Kate Moss will be a star guest.
