Following the recent success of Patricia Field’s range, May 7 sees the launch of a dazzling, collaborative collection by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes for high street giant Marks and Spencer.
This is Rhodes’ first collection for the company, though the designer has also previously collaborated with brands such as Topshop and MAC cosmetics. Past exhibitions have showcased the work of renowned designers such as Jean Muir, John Galliano, Bill Gibb as well as Zandra Rhodes herself. After a 20 year absence, Zandra returned to London Fashion Week in 2006.
Rhodes' vibrant and original style, reflected is evident throughout this capsule collection for M&S , which includes womenswear, accessories, beachwear and lingerie. The line features a variety of bold and colourful prints. Neil Hendy, head of womenswear for the company stated: "This has been an amazing opportunity to work with such a well-known designer and a perfect fit for M&S. Zandra’s unique prints and aesthetic works really well for our customers." The collection will be available online and in 55 stores nationwide, with sizes ranging from 8-18.
