London-based Turkish designer Bora Aksu debuted a cocktail line to buyers at the uber-chic Avenue Montaigne during Paris Fashion Week.
The 10 dresses are designed to be worn in multiple ways to create different looks because, says Bora, "women want dresses for more than one occasion." Each has a detachable petticoat for optional added volume, and the shapes can be further adjusted with ties and wraps.
The dark blue, black and grey colour palette echoed the Victoriana and art-inspired autumn/winter 09/10 collection Bora showed at London Fashion Week (catwalk report here). Fabrics included silk georgette, habotai silk and jersey.
The dresses retail at £195-345. Stockists at www.boraaksu.com
