Actress Emma Watson has a new role starring in Burberry's forthcoming advertising campaign. The Harry Potter star features in a series of stunning shots taken by Mario Testino in Westminster near to the company's new global headquarters. Burberry's Creative Director Christopher Bailey commented: "I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand whilst at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today."
It was announced in April that 19-year-old Emma would be joining Burberry and there has been a big buzz about the pairing. She was joined by five male models including Tom Guinness for the photoshoot and Bailey commented "Emma's charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames." With tousled locks (by Sam McKnight) Emma models signature Burberry pieces including trench coats and a check scarf from the autumn/winter 2009/10 collection.
Now that Burberry has decided to show its Burberry Prorsum collection at London Fashion Week in September instead of Milan, could Emma be persuaded to feature in the catwalk show? Whether she's front row or on the catwalk, the flash bulbs from photographers are bound to be blinding!
