Graduate Fashion Week is all about celebrating new fashion talent and this year's event has attracted a host of fashion insiders and celebrities including Claudia Schiffer, Lizzy Jagger, Amber Le Bon Giles Deacon and Zandra Rhodes. Taking place at Earl's Court, the week-long series of shows from fashion colleges throughout Britain will culminate in a gala showing on Wednesday June 10 when awards will be given for the best collections.
This year sponsors River Island have packed a huge amount into the website, with video reports, Twitter updates, street style snaps of those in attendance, and a new GFW collection created by River Island designers who have all graduated from Graduate Fashion Week colleges. There is also a special education day for younger students aged 14-18 years old to get the inside track on what fashion courses are available and a new Fashionista glossy souvenir magazine for the event.
