Designers have been paying homage to Mickey Mouse both on the catwalk and off. Last year London-based milliner Piers Atkinson reworked Mickey's ears into a New Era baseball cap and called it The Dalston; and recently the Disney character's ears have been immortalised in My Mickey's Ears exhibition and online auction for Great Ormond Street by British designers including Luella, Henry Holland, Giles Deacon and Katie Hillier. Having worked with Galliano, Basso and Brooke and a host of other fashion luminaries, it is not surprising that Stephen Jones' contribution has been the most outstanding so far. Revealed on Ladies Day at Ascot modelled by Jasmine Guinness, Stephen's creation takes a stunning abstract approach to Mickey's ears too and includes feathered wheels.
