SELENE PEARSON is reporting live for soFeminine.co.uk every day of Fashion Week. See all the photos from Day Two When your non-fashion pals enquire after your plans for the weekend, they always look surprised when you confess to a fun packed day full of fashion shows. "You have to go on a Saturday?" Yes, dear friend - not to mention a 9am start on Sunday when the only appropriate place to be is really in bed or perhaps at church if you’re really old school. Well, for this one week at least, we worship at the church of style. We make Herculean dashes along Holborn so as to take in both on schedule and off schedule shows and we stand in epic queues in icy weather so we can see the hot ticket of the season. Day two of London Fashion Week saw blinding sunshine, always a welcome accessory to any day, as we made our way to Kinder Aggugini. With a Savile Row past, his tailoring skills are still evidently put to good use with beautiful overcoats and capes stealing the show from mohair dresses and flocked shift dresses. The Italian has classic British style locked down, perhaps owing to his illustrious past. He’s worked with some real legends including Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith and John Galliano. Impressive credentials. | ||||||
