Acne’s live stream wasn’t part of the BFC digital schedule but instead served to let those across the Atlantic (and wily ones like us) see what the Swedish brand had to offer.

More of that 1990s minimalism crept in, with ivory oversized jumpers and scarlet tube skirts evoking a glamorous take on the grunge of the era. It seems everybody wants to be an Acne girl.

So fashion week is political, confusing and damn hard work but flashes of glamour can make it worthwhile. Whether it’s a stunning venue or covetable collection, fashion always wins you back over to its’ stylish side.
