Future Grunge denim

Alice Delall might be the noughties poster girl, but she’s taken her inspiration from 90s grunge icons Kurt Cobain and Drew Barrymore – who has herself recently revisited this dishevelled look, complete with baseball boots and plum lips, for Pop magazine. Future grunge denim staples include: ripped jeans (the high street has taken its cue from Current/Elliott ripped boyfriend jeans), oversized shirts, denim leggings (Urban Outfitters offer a credible selection), and if you’re very brave, cropped tops (we recommend them as part of a layered look).
