Harem pants trend

Notoriously hard to carry off unless you happen to be MC Hammer or Aladdin, harem pants have made an unwelcome return to fashion’s fore. But, attempted in the right way, they can look rather glamorous. Firstly, let’s lay down some ground rules: pair with heels wherever possible and keep the top half simple. Ralph Lauren’s version in slinky gold would be perfect for a balmy summer evening and DKNY’s navy cotton harems only need espadrilles and a vest for a sunny day out. Harem pants may take some getting used to, but they are supremely suited to summer, so lock your skinny jeans away and give your legs a well-earned airing.
