Topshop Reclaim to Wear: Recycled fashion
Reclaim to Wear takes the idea of recycling fabrics to its stylish conclusion, by reworking leftover material from the production of other clothes into edgy new designs. This saves surplus denim, jersey and cotton from clogging up landfill sites as well as minimising water and energy waste - so we can shop for our summer wardrobe and help save the environment at the same time. The concept was originally only available at fashion label From Somewhere, set up by design duo Orsola de Castro and Filippo Ricci, so we’re thrilled they’ve now teamed up with one of our favourite high street haunts to bring us eco-friendly styles at pocket-friendly prices.
And you’d never be able to tell that every last stitch has been reclaimed from discarded materials. We’re particularly loving the sporty colour block T-shirt dress - which is pretty sexy, considering it’s made from cast-offs! Check it out from June 15th at Topshop to snap up some recycled summer must-haves that are unique, on-trend, and best of all guilt-free. As our Mum would say, “Waste not, want not!” Pictured: Reclaim to Wear T-Shirt dress RRP: £38.00 Denim rucksack RRP: £45.00 Both available from Topshop. |
