There’s been an ‘ear-ie’ trend hopping around in celeb fashion land lately and now that Victoria Beckham’s joined the warren, we’re suddenly twitching to follow suit. Forget head scarves, festival garlands and hairslides it’s all about the bunny ears.

When Victoria Beckham took to Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo this week to post a picture of her Chanel lace bunny ears, we finally started listening to this hopping-mad trend.

The cute ears aren’t just for the Playboy bunnies now with Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton turning the fad trend fashionable.

With the likes of Rihanna and the Olsen twins as fans, it’s no surprise that it’s the year of the bunny (in fashion terms anyway).

Rihanna’s hardly quiet about her love of Chanel accessories and she certainly let her accessories do the talking when she posted a pic of her Lagerfeld lace bunny ears on Instagram.

If you don’t like the sound of a headband with ears then why not try a rain-coat rabbit alternative like Rihanna and Caroline Flack?

There’s a pair of ears to suit all from ditsy Disney Micky Mouse headwear a la Sarah Jessica Parker or bejewelled cat-like hair accessories like Pixie Lott.

Perfect for adding a cute feminine twist to a simple outfit or completing a fancy-dress ensemble there’s plenty of fun to be had with this micro celeb-trend.
