:: SAVASANA - for relaxation and suppleness


Starting posture:
Lie on your back with your arms and legs straight, palms facing upwards. This is known as the Corpse position, as it promotes total relaxation. Try relaxing in this position for a few minutes to calm your mind.
Movement:
Flex your foot and raise it up into the air, keeping your leg as straight as possible. Bring your toes towards your face, holding your leg with both hands at the knee (or calf if you are feeling more flexible). Breathe deeply as you bring your knee into your chest. Rest, then repeat with other leg.
Benefits:
Greater flexibility and suppleness, deeper breathing helps respiratory system.
