This
is the perfect diet for those who want to lose
weight gradually. In his latest book, Dr Fricker
sets out two weight-loss plans, whic work at different
speeds. The quickest of the two is the HSD (High Speed
Diet), which only cuts out slow-release sugars. Leaving
you free to pig out on roast chicken of a Sunday,
without feeling guilty.
An
HSD day:
Breakfast:
-200g fat-free fromage frais
-A fat-free plain yoghurt
-A piece of fruit, not juice
Lunch and Dinner:
-Starter: salad or fat-free vegetable soup
-Main course: as a salad or warm meal = 200g fish,
150g meat or four eggs. At least 200g vegetables,
with a tablespoon of olive oil (10g).

This
is a balanced diet, which is especially good
for those who want to avoid yoyo dieting. Most diets
will help you lose weight, but statistics show that
over the long term, two thirds do not help you keep
the weight off. To stay slim, you must eat a balanced,
low-fat diet and stick to small portions. |

it
will take longer to see the results with this diet,
and you need to have patience to stick to it.
Don't worry if you don't lose as much as you want
to, this is a diet which can last for as long as six
months.
