Essentials for the beach

 - Essentials for the beach
Because preparing for your hols is half the fun, here's a checklist of everything you'll need on the beach so you can sit back, relax and tan!

Sun protection
- Bring your sun cream! Get a high SPF cream if you have fair or sensitive skin. Ideally get a special cream for your face and lotion for your body.
- Take a straw hat and a tee so that you can cover up if you feel yourself frazzling. A light tunic is handy to slip on over your bikini for protection. Parasols are a great idea if you can carry them!
- A good pair of sunnies are essential to protect your eyes, retain a VIP air of mystery and ogle the totty on the beach unobserved.

Hair care
- Pop a wide-toothed comb in your beach bag to untangle your hair after swimming, as well as a detangling spray and any products you use to protect your locks from the sun (especially if you've just dyed it!). Your hair can suffer just as much from exposure to UVA and UVB rays.

Skin and make-up
- Bring a shimmering oil or gel to keep your skin sexy and hydrated.
- Moisturising lip gloss with SPF is a must to keep your lips protected from UV rays and keep them lush.

Practical essentials
- Don’t forget your towel or sarong to lie on and wrap around for a stroll along the beach.
- Take a big bottle of water to keep hydrated and a water spray to keep you refreshed.
- Take a few plasters in case of accidents or uncomfy flip-flops!
- Bring a change of bikini or cossie so you can slip a fresh one on. Wearing the same cossie all day can make you feel yukky, plus sand and salt water can cause irritation.
- If you're planning on staking out, bring an inflatable pillow to rest your head on!
