Mother-to-child transmission of HIV
Mother-to-child transmission of HIV has been practically eradicated in Europe, North America and other industrialised countries throughout the world. However, in developing countries 430,000 children are born with HIV every year, that's more than 1,000 children a day. The campaign's main message is: "We can put a stop to this in the next five years. A world where children are BORN HIV FREE is now possible". | |||||||
