And today in bullsh*t us women have to put up with: this 20-year-old woman was ejected from her own apartment's communal pool for wearing a one piece swimsuit, because "there are a lot of teenage boys in this complex, and you don't need to excite them." WTAF. And if that hasn't made you hella mad, wait 'til you hear the whole story...

When it's a hot day and you wanna chillax by the pool, you should be able to wear whatever you damn please, right? Bikini, swimsuit, short shorts and a crop top - it's your body and you can dress it as you like. Wear a Donald Trump swimming costume for all we care, you do you.

Well, the admin staff at Tori Jenkin's apartment pool had other ideas about what is and isn't appropriate for a woman to wear for a hot day on the sun loungers, and spoiler: it's kinda ridiculous.

Tori's fiancé Tyler Newman took to Facebook to deplore the staff at his local pool for making his girlfriend feel uncomfortable and for promoting rape culture after them deemed her swimsuit "inappropriate" to wear round the pool.

"Today my fiancée was faced with either changing her bathing suit, covering up with shorts, or leaving the pool that we paid a $300 fee to maintain on top of a monthly rent of nearly $1000 (not including utilities and wifi). Tori was accused of wearing a "thong bathing suit" and told there were complaints about the way she was dressed after roughly 3 minutes tops, of us arriving there."

Tori then had to go and speak with staff about her bathing suit, where they insisted on taking a picture of of her in her costume. When Tori told them that she didn't need pictures taken because she knows what she looks like, they told her that because she didn't have kids, she wouldn't understand.

"Today my fiancée was told that she is less important than how men feel around her. That Tori is less important than a man's urges to be sexual towards her," Tyler said. "I think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but I also respect her. I would never make her or any other woman feel less than what she's worth because of her outfit or her looks. This is how rape culture continues to grow."

Tyler then went down to speak to the staff himself but was met with excuses: "When I went down to get some information from them myself on the woman who demeaned my fiancée, I was met with a whole lot of blank stares and stutters. The woman who demeaned my fiancée "wasn't present in the office" when I went up there to discuss the incident. This will not be the last that's heard of this issue."

He finished his post with an important message: "My fiancée being told she should cover up on a 90 degree day in our own apartment pool because she will "excite teenage boys" is bullshit. I will not stand for this. My fiancée should be able to wear a bathing suit without being sexualized (sic) and demeaned. She shouldn't feel violated."

Damn, can Tyler come and have a word with all the people that have body-shamed us, too? But seriously, let's let Tori wear whatever the eff she wants to the pool and worry about some more important things, shall we?
