A halo of mystery

Rock'n'roll chic is one of the most happening make-up looks at the moment, so smoky eyes are the way forward.
 
Go for glam, sultry and overstated: black powder to darken and intensify and lots of kohl to give your eyes depth.

All you need to get this look is grey or black eyeshadow, along with dark grey or black kohl pencils and black mascara. 

Technique: Draw a line of kohl along the top of your eyelashes to highlight your eyes, stretching your eyelid out with one hand, and then apply a thick line to the bottom of your eyelids. Apply black or dark grey eyeshadow to your eyelids with an applicator brush, working outwards, and then add some powder underneath your eyes.

The final touch: lots of black mascara to lengthen your lashes and add even more drama.
