Lancôme
1945: Lancôme brought their first compact eyeshadow out.
1967: Lancôme created their first mascara, Lancômatique, which was followed by Maquicils in 1970.
In 1985, Stylo mascara first appeared. With its mini brush (which was developed for the Asian market), it was a runaway success in the US. An updated version, Definicils*, was launched in 1991 and is still on the market.
After 2004's Hypnose, which promised made-to-measure volume, and Fatale, a 3D comb mascara for extra lash coverage, in 2006, Lancome's latest Cils Design Pro has just been launched.
*lengthens and coats the lashes using a bioselective polymer complex and a brush made of hollow fibres to separate the lashes and add gradual texture along the entire length.
