The big plus of epilators is that they leave your skin completely fuzz-free for 2-3 weeks, and the latest epilators are far less painful and better at getting rid of those annoying short hairs.
+ A good investment that soon pays off (a standard epilator costs between £25 and £50). It removes the shortest (0.5 mm) hairs, leaving your legs soft and smooth. Some hairs might grow back undeneath the skin and give you red spots. To avoid this, exfoliate your legs regularly.
Tips: Start by having a hot bath to soften your skin and dilate your pores: this will make epilation far less painful. Then apply the epilator over the hairs on dry skin until they disappear completely.
Use it on: Legs and armpits.
The pain factor: 4/10 - not too bad.
