Golden shine has worked its way into all our favourites this Christmas, but we're talking subtle: no heavy, OTT make-up, but subtle, fine powder, precious eyeshadows and a golden smile under the Christmas lights.

Halle Berry gets top marks for pulling the gold look off flawlessly: she always has a golden glow about her, but she uses very small amounts of magic products to achieve a classy but sexy look.
Get the look
Day:
Use just a little gold on your eyelids or lips (not both, or you'll look over the top). Team with warm, ambery shades (pearly beige, fir green and bronze) to catch the light subtly for a really pretty effect.
Tip: Apply just a touch of gold to the centre of your lower lip to plump up your pout.
Night:
Go for gold shimmer powder over your shoulders and décolleté, with a pearly texture to make your skin all satiny. And dazzle all night with maximum shine lip gloss!
Tip: Dust shimmer powder over the hollows of your face and body (your shoulders, the crease between your breasts, cheekbones, nose and the arch of your eyebrows).
Glam touch
Slip a golden lippy or mini spray into your bag to touch up if you feel your golden girl crown slipping!
