The skin on our faces suffers a lot in winter: it's exposed to constant temperature changes as you go from the warm indoors to the cold outdoors and soon gets tight, blotchy and dull...
The solution? Use a richer nourishing cream than the one you use the rest of the year round, and don't scrimpy on the quantity you use! If your skin is crying out for moisture, try going to bed with a thick layer of moisturising cream on your face, like a mask. Place a towel over your pillowcase so you don't get it everywhere! It might not look very sexy but you'll wake up with a glow in the morning.
You should also regularly use redness-reducing masks during the winter months to soothe your skin. Take time to sit down and relax while the active ingredients work their magic. Have a cup of herbal tea, stick on a DVD or phone a friend while you pamper your skin!
