Your style: a single flower scent
You're natural and loyal, a touch romantic and traditional. You like pure, real, natural scents. A soliflore perfume, i.e. one that's based on just one flower (rose, jasmine or lily of the valley, for example), is the right scent for you.
Which flower?
> The rose is a mythical flower that evokes femininity. White roses symbolise purity, pink ones signify love and red roses are all about passion. In perfume, the two most valued species are Rosa Damascena, the Damask rose (grown in Turkey), and Rosa Centifolia, also known as the Provence or cabbage rose, which is grown in the French city of Grasse.
> Jasmine is the most popular white flower used in perfumes. Like the rose, it is picked in the small hours of the morning.
> Lily of the Valley is also known as "Our Lady's Tears", a reference to the Virgin Mary's tears turning to Lilies of the Valley at the cross. It's rarely used alone, because growing and picking it is extremely expensive!
Classic rose perfumes: Joy (Patou), Trésor (Lancôme), La Rose des parfums (Rosine).
Classic jasmine perfumes: N°5 (Chanel), First (Van Cleef & Arpels), Arpège (Lanvin).
Classic lily of the valley perfumes: Diorissimo (Dior), White Linen (Estée Lauder).
