I'm a brunette and I want to go blonde. What can I do?

On your natural colour, use a colour-stripping shampoo, followed by a permanent blonde colour cream.  On coloured hair, use the colour-stripping shampoo, but only if the colour is quite old and not too dark.  This is advised for lighter brunettes, those with very dark hair should leave it to the pros.
