Her path to fame   
After a successful modelling career, Cameron landed a role in The Mask in 1994. The film was a huge success, and brought Ms Diaz overnight fame. The sexy actress showcased her unique talent for comedy in My Best Friend's Wedding, and then came box-office smash There's Something About Mary which made her into an international star. She's never looked back since, though her career has taken different directions. Cam played alongside Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu in the film adaptation of Charlie’s Angels, which was also a huge hit. She then tried to break away from her sexy, throwaway blonde image by taking on more risky roles such as that of Tom Cruise's neurotic wife in Vanilla Sky. She has since continued to exploit her comic talent in films such as She's The One. Cameron is currently starring in Nancy Meyers' The Holiday in the very good company of British stars Kate Winslet and Jude Law.

Cameron Diaz has made herself into a style icon by combining sensuality with her natural beauty. She's always chic, but looks just as good in skinny jeans as she does in an evening dress. At the Spanish premiere of The Holiday in Madrid, Cameron was stunning in a black-and-white printed mini-dress by Chanel, which showed off her impeccable and endless pins. Cameron's trademark bright smile is a huge part of her look, and while she may be a beauty icon, she always manages to look fun and cheeky, and never aloof. Tomboy Cameron has broken her nose no less than three times, more recently during a surfing accident, and she's just had a nose job because she was suffering from breathing problems. She also dyed her blonde bob brown recently...maybe after splitting from long-term love Justin Timberlake she felt like a change. We think it suits her a treat.   

Her beauty secrets  
Cameron has problem skin, believe it or not, and she looks after it by avoiding make-up when she's not filming. All she does is apply moisturiser morning and night to keep her skin in tip-top condition.
