Blunt is back, and this time it's personal (but not romantic)!
After the runaway success of You're Beautiful, the army officer turned pop star is trying to shake off the sensitive-bloke-with-guitar tag he's been landed with ever since his anthem to heartache struck a chord with broken hearts worldwide. Having sold 14 million records, romanced Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Petra Nemcova, and been voted more annoying than traffic wardens, noisy neighbours and dog poo,* James Blunt is back with a new offering that's - yes - uptempo, with a Seventies feel, no less. Much like James himself, his latest is as honest and as heartfelt as ever.
We met up with the most softly-spoken man in pop to talk about how celebrity has changed James' life, his second album and, of course, women! See how James went from army officer to pop star and check out the video for the single 1973.
All The Lost Souls is out now.
