The lovely Sean Penn had not long since split from Robin, his wife of 11 years, when he turned up at the Oscars in the company of one Petra Nemcova, James Blunt's ex. Petra posed for the cameras and Sean answered a barrage of questions from journalists before they headed off to chic LA nightspot Villa to party the rest of the night away.

The chances of it lasting? We say: 6/10
