Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp

That Vanessa Paradis is one lucky lady. She's bagged herself the hottest property in Hollywood, turned him into an exemplary doting dad (to Lily-Rose and Jack), and now she's got him to agree to make an honest woman of her. Jealous? Us? 

After 10 years of domestic bliss, it seems Johnny and Vanessa have decided to make their union official. A bit of a turnaround, we reckon, as Monsieur Depp has always maintained he doesn't need to marry Vanessa to prove their love...and he doesn't want her to change her pretty name. "It would be a shame to ruin her last name!" Johnny once said. "It's so perfect - Vanessa Paradis. So beautiful. It would be such a drag to stick her with Paradis-Depp. It's like a flat note. For all intents and purposes we are married. We have two kids together and she is the woman in my life. But if she ever said: 'Hey, let's get hitched', I would do it in a second." Er, why aren't all men like this?

Now that Vanessa feels the time is right to become Mrs Paradis-Depp, the couple are reportedly planning to tie the knot on 14th June in a secret location. Some say they've chosen their home in the south of France for their nuptials; others say they're planning to say their vows in Georgia, in Johnny's native US. We'll keep you posted...
