Media superstars since they were toddlers, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are rarely out of the limelight. Over the last few years their meteoric careers have turned away from television and more towards fashion and design, and they’re now better known as style trend-setters and pioneers of boho-chic in the US.
At 20, the Olsen twins are self-made millionaires, media magnets and international superstars. Their Dualstar Entertainment company is worth around £160 million and they’re two of the most photographed stars on the planet. Their hectic schedule means they’re only in Paris, where we meet, for a few days, but they’re determined to make the most of a city (and its shops!) that they have loved since they first came here as child stars.
We talked separately with each twin to find out all about their passion for fashion, what motivates and influences them, their personal style tips and what trends they're into at the minute.
